Support in Sports

Kobe Bryant was a major influence on everyone in the world. In the video around 3:30, you hear him talk about how his daughter is going to be the one to carry on the tradition and that she shuts down all of the people telling him he should try for a boy. He was very supportive of his daughter and was the biggest celebrity/athlete supporter of women in sports. He was known to go to WNBA games often, he would go to the USWNT soccer games and he would bring his daughters to support. This ties into our class because to me feminism is not always just women doing things, Kobe Bryant did little acts like this to show us he cared and he wanted his daughters to dream big and know that they can make it and be successful.
